A turbocharged exploration of how to innovate with confidence and practise creative thinking techniques you can use to generate commercial ideas. Using a linked series of ‘serious play’ idea generation activities, we’ll help you to connect the dots between problems, solutions and testing commercial viability.
By the end of the session you’ll the foundation of a toolkit for idea generation, concept development and creativity techniques to drive innovation.
Speaker - Alison Gray
Alison is the founder of Skillfluence, a company with the mission to support the advancement of scientific discovery and the impact and commercialisation of research. She is an expert training designer, facilitator and speaker specialising in the business skills and professional attributes of successful scientists, researchers and technical specialists.
Alison has extensive experience in lean start-up approaches and executive coaching; working with spinouts and start-ups in scientific and tech fields. She presents at international conferences, hosts entrepreneurial classes for start-ups and facilitates innovation workshops for Universities, Innovation Centres and entrepreneurs.
While living in the San Francisco Bay area Alison studied cutting edge Training Design at UC Berkeley, Strategic Agility at the American Management Association and Lean Start-up methodology at Stanford University.
